HARMAN Connected Car division held the first Tech Day event for Audi and Volkswagen Group China (VGC) at the Audi Research & Development Center for Asia in Beijing.
Senior Executive Vice President of Audi China R&D Center, was particularly interested in the Oakland and Orinoco platforms. He asked many detailed questions and said that Orinoco will be a good choice for SAIC VW and FAW-VW.
The Director of Purchasing Department, FAW-VW and Manager of forward sourcing department, were invited to attend the Tech Day. They had in-depth communications with HARMAN executives, which laid a solid foundation for the future cooperation.
At the technological seminar, engineers showed great interest in HARMAN’s infotainment platform and cutting-edge technologies like V2X, ADAS, and OTA and actively communicated with technology experts from HARMAN.
As an industry leader in China, HARMAN has a long history of cooperation with Volkswagen Group, whose brands, including Audi and Porsche, feature HARMAN infotainment systems. VGC is playing an increasingly important role in the global purchasing strategy of VW Group. This Tech Day event offered a platform for the management, engineers, and R&D personnel of Audi and VGC to gain a deeper understanding and experience the innovative technologies of HARMAN’s infotainment systems. Meanwhile, the HARMAN Connected Car Pision was also in a good position to listen to the appeals of customers and demonstrate its technology and product advantages.
